The official launch of the book was marked by one of the largest-ever global gatherings of IR professionals in the stunning auditorium at Goldman Sachs, London. This milestone event brought together a powerful collective of industry leaders to reflect on the past, present, and future of the IR profession.

Oskar Yasar, author of the book, opened the event with an introduction to the book that celebrated the profession’s extraordinary journey – from a behind-the-scenes function to a strategic force embedded at the highest levels of corporate leadership.

He was joined by a world-class panel of experts including Bob Cowell, Founder, Makinson Cowell and Senior Adviser, Lazard; Jo Russell, Head of Investor Relations, Haleon; Douglas Radcliffe, Group Investor Relations Director, Lloyds Banking Group; Nadia Ridout-Jamieson, Chief Communications Officer, Experian and Charlie Lytle, Chair, Corporate Broking, Goldman Sachs.

Together, they explored the trends redefining IR – from the integration of AI and ESG, to evolving talent profiles, rising pay scales, and IR’s growing influence in the boardroom and beyond.
