Reflections on a Global Journey: The IR Revolution Without Borders
IR association heads dinner, London
The past few months have been an exceptional journey. Taking The Global IR Revolution on the road has offered an opportunity to meet, listen to, and learn from investor relations professionals shaping the future of our field in every corner of the world.
From the Middle East to South Africa, from Bulgaria to Denmark, it has been a reminder that the strength of our profession lies in its people and in our shared commitment to progress and connection.
MEIRA Conference, Oman
It was a privilege to open and close the MEIRA Annual Conference in Oman before an audience of more than 1,300 investor relations officers – one of the largest gatherings of its kind globally. To see how the region has developed over the past two decades into one of the most advanced and strategically influential IR communities was both humbling and encouraging. The discussions around leadership, transparency, and professional development reflected many of the ideas explored in The Global IR Revolution.

In South Africa, I was pleased to speak at the national IR association’s Annual Conference, where the progress and professionalism of the community continue to set a strong example.
In Bulgaria, I joined the Bulgarian IR Association’s 20th anniversary, where delegates from across the world came together to mark two decades of growth. Sharing a platform with so many global IR leaders in a country that has made remarkable strides in advancing the profession was a real highlight.

The journey continued to Copenhagen, where I took part in DIRFdagen 2025 to explore the key drivers and future opportunities shaping investor relations. The Danish and wider Nordic communities demonstrated both depth and momentum – a sign that the global IR conversation is evolving rapidly and constructively. The engagement and thoughtful dialogue from delegates reinforced the growing importance of IR as a strategic discipline.

Next stops include our official US book launch in the US in January as well as further events across Europe. More details on all the sessions can be found here:
France: The Global Investor Relations Revolution at FTI Consulting, Paris – 20 November 2025
Switzerland: SIX Swiss Exchange in partnership with the IR club Schweiz Investor Relations Conference – 27 November 2025
As the conversation continues about how investor relations is redefining its place within global business, this movement is about more than a book – it’s about a shared vision for how our profession can continue to lead, influence, and connect. Together, we’re proving that the Global IR Revolution is real – and it’s only just beginning.
