Oskar Yasar appointed as Chair of the Development Board of Queer Britain

Oskar Yasar has been appointed as Chair of the newly created Development Board of Queer Britain – the UK’s first national LGBTQ+ museum, and a world-first on this scale.  In his role, he will work with patrons, donors and supporters to help secure the next phase of the museum’s development and growth.

A cultural landmark in the heart of King’s Cross in Central London, the museum is a living archive of stories, artefacts and voices that have shaped and continue to shape the LGBTQ+ experience.

At a time when inclusion and representation matter more than ever, we’re delighted to see Oskar’s appointment to lead the Development Board to help bridge the gap between this extraordinary museum and the corporate and business worlds.

You must visit!

We would encourage you to visit the museum.  The stories are powerful. The history is urgent. The impact is real. It really is a remarkable, unique and special place.

If you or your organisation would like to be part of this story and movement, the museum’s Business Membership network is growing, and actively seeking:

• Corporate partners who want to make a meaningful impact
• Individual donors who believe these stories must be preserved
• Leaders who want to align their brand with cultural significance and social progress

If your company is looking to support through corporate giving, or if you’re considering an individual contribution, please get in touch with Oskar or learn more HERE

Let’s build something that lasts and makes a difference.
