The Global IR Revolution Frankfurt
The Global IR Revolution heads to Frankfurt for a high-profile panel event on April 30th, in partnership with FGS Global. The response so far has been great, which reflects both the strength of the German market (our third largest market after the US and the UK) and the increasing importance of IR as a strategic function.
As the brilliant Constantin Fest, Senior Vice President, Head of Investor Relations at GSK, and the former Head of Investor Relations at Merck who we were delighted to have had the opportunity to appoint, puts it: “Over the last decade the seniority and maturity of IR leaders has vastly increased… IR is recognised as a breeding ground for talent.”
Germany continues to stand out as one of the most advanced and sophisticated IR markets globally. What’s particularly evident here is how far the role has evolved. IR is no longer just about disclosure and reporting. It is increasingly a board-level discipline shaping valuation, managing reputation and interpreting market expectations in real time.
In Frankfurt, we’ll be discussing exactly this shift with a strong panel including Steffen, Hoffman, Chief Financial Officer at Aurubis, Marc-Dominic Nettersheim, Vice President, Head of Investor Relations at Lufthansa and Stefanie Steiner, Director Investor Relations at Autodoc, with it being moderated by the great Daniel Röska of FGS Global.
The core question is a simple one: how the most sophisticated IR functions are moving from information providers to strategic advisors, and what that means for the C-suite. This will be a rare opportunity to engage with peers and thought leaders shaping the future of investor relations and to gain actionable perspectives that will inform your strategic positioning in the year ahead. Great for all to see such strong engagement already.
